At this time the Olympics have just started and while I’m not a sports fan…I do know that the athletes are all going for the gold! That’s why my last few posts have been gold everything! So while we’re on the subject of gold clutches and gold dresses do check out this amazing DIY by Honestly WTF which shows you how to make your own pair of golden Miu Miu inspired sneakers! Even though it’s inspired by Miu Miu I do think it has a similar look some of the ensembles from Michael Kors’ Resort 2013 collection. What do you think?

A/W 2012-3 Trend: “Techno-Wonder”
Another trend I have seen prevalent in some of the autumn/ winter 2012-13 collections (fall 2012) is bright and vivid prints including stripes and houndstooth that are beautiful, digital and dynamic. I absolutely LOVE this colourful sci-fi esque look and it can be seen in the collections below:
House of Holland A/W 2012-3 (Fall 2012)-Colours contrast flamboyantly and work perfectly with equally as loud prints.
J. Crew Autumn/ Winter 2012-3 (Fall 2012)- Stripes Stripes Stripes!
Basso & Brooke Autumn/ Winter 2012-3 (Fall 2012)- Juxaposition of Digital Vasarely-esque motifs with the classy houndsooth create what is Cyber Chic
