Jourdan Dunn really depicts a Brixton native well in the Gowns of Brixton photoshoot from Vogue UK October 2012.The shots combine the couture with the urban and the flamboyant with the fun. The shots are very believable and for a Londoner like me, conjure up nostalgic memories of trips down to the hair shop or little nail bar down the streets of little ol’ Brixton. Also, may I add, who said one can’t wear studded kicks with a gown? Jourdan Dunn does in these shots and she wears it flawlessly.
