IFB Project! “Be Uncommon”: | Fall 2012 Trend: BAROQUE DETAILING Independent Fashion Bloggers (IFB) have challenged fashion bloggers to pull together some images from a chosen fall 2012 trend that could be used to inspire the design of an iPhone case and considering the amazing prizes up for grabs, I figured I’d give it my best shot.  Luckily this happens to be one of the most inspiring seasons yet with a wide variety of beautiful trends out there to be inspired by. My chosen inspiration lies in Baroque detailing. Collections like Marchesa ,Dolce & Gabbana and Balmain all use a combination of luxurious embellishments and materials such as lace, floral embroidery, pearls and crystals creating a romantic royal look that celebrates luxury, opulence and the finest craftsmanship in all it’s classical glory. I think this look would make a great iPhone case because it will create a similar lavish look seen in popular swarovski phone cases but it will have more of a sophisticated historical flair and be much more practical as a flat phone case that will mimic the embellished textures and depth without the bulkiness and the limitations that come with a jewelled case.
