DIY Floral Nails inspired by | Valentino Resort 2013 Collection

Valentino’s Resort 2013 collection was amazingly beautiful. One of the collection’s most notable traits were its use of lace florals, following the floral trend that was very notable for Resort 2013. It’s therefore no surprise that it has been used as inspiration for nail art. 

I saw this great nail tutorial on Fashion Magazine, showing the cute nail look (shown above, with corresponding nail varnish colours) which would be great for summer. I must definitely try it out!!

Another way to get florals nails without a lot of nail varnish colours is water decals! I tried out this VERY inexpensive set off ebay and the result was amazing!Beautiful long lasting floral nails without much effort. I then took a picture on instagram (which you can follow me on @ fashion_jane , shameless advertising)  One tip though if you try out water decals, (which any nail art fanatic MUST!) is to make sure you stick them on using clear nail polish and then apply the clear nail polish again as a top coat to get floral nails that last a good week! Power to the Flower!
